About Alyssa Beaver

Born and raised in the vibrant city of Austin, Alyssa is a devoted healthcare professional passionate about women's health and well-being. She is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner recognized by the American Nursing Credentialing Center.
Alyssa's nursing education began at the Baptist School of Health Professions in San Antonio, followed by earning a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from The University of Texas at Arlington. Eager to expand her knowledge and skills, she achieved a Master of Science in Nursing from The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston, specializing as a Family Nurse Practitioner.

With over 15 years of experience, Alyssa has dedicated a significant portion of her career as a registered nurse to the emergency department, giving her the unique ability to stay composed under pressure while extending compassion, even in the most challenging situations. One of her proudest moments came when she received the prestigious Daisy Award, an honor given to registered nurses with exceptional clinical skills, leadership, and above all, unwavering care and compassion.

Alyssa's true calling lies in women's healthcare. She currently finds her professional home at Austin Area OBGYN with Dr. Garcia’s team. Her goal is simple—to be a comforting presence, a voice of advocacy, and a source of education while
treating women from all walks of life.

Outside of work, Alyssa finds joy in spending time with family and friends. She enjoys traveling, playing board games, working out, perfecting her golf swing, and ensuring her rescue dogs are living their best lives.
