Carrie Hodges joined the Austin Area OBGYN team in 2020. Originally from Maryland, Carrie earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from Towson University and upon graduation she commissioned into the United States Air Force. She served in the Air Force for 4 years, specializing in obstetric nursing. After completing her military service, Carrie moved to Austin, TX to work in Labor and Delivery at St. David’s Women’s Center of Texas. While working at St. David’s, she completed her Masters of Science in Nursing with honors at the University of Texas and is accredited as a Family Nurse Practitioner by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. After working in convenient care for six years, Carrie was happy to return to her true passion- women’s health. Carrie appreciates establishing long-lasting relationships with patients and empowering women through education.
In her free time, Carrie enjoys running, yoga, traveling, and spending time with her husband and her two children- Finnegan and Piper.
