Childbirth Classes With Kristie

Kristie Willis, RN, BSN: Kristie has been a nurse for over 24 years at Austin Area OBGYN. She currently works for Dr. Robert Cowan but has also worked with all our physicians. She has taught our Newborn Care Class since March 2001 and Childbirth Classes since May 2008.

We will break for lunch on Saturdays and have 5-10 minute breaks throughout the class for both Wednesdays and Saturdays.

TOPICS THAT WILL BE COVERED:

• Prepare expectant mothers and their partners for childbirth.
• Discuss hospital routine and policy.
• Discuss vaginal delivery and cesarean delivery.
• Discuss natural labor vs pain control vs anesthesia.
• Discuss postpartum care.
• Tour of Texas Women’s Center (Labor/Delivery, Postpartum, Nursery.)

COST: $100 In-Person and $90 for live Streaming

SCHEDULE:Two Consecutive Wednesdays, 6:30-9:30 pm OR, One Saturday all day class, 9:00 am-4:00 pm

LOCATION: Office Waiting Room #100 (St. David’s Women’s Center for Texas) or Live Stream from anywhere on your Phone, Tablet, or Computer
