Dr. Garcia is a native Austinite who completed her undergraduate degree at the University of Texas where she was part of the UT Rowing team. She then attended medical school at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas and was Chief Resident while training at Parkland Hospital.

Dr. Garcia has built her practice by providing excellent care while fostering a relationship with her patients that is based on trust. She feels that women’s healthcare is an area of medicine where she can have a unique relationship with her patients on their journey through life- from the teenage years where a young woman learns how to trust and interact with their doctor to the postmenopausal age when the mature woman has concerns that are specialized and require someone who is sensitive to their needs. She is fluent in Spanish.

Dr. Garcia is an avid University of Texas athletics supporter, enjoys live music, and enjoying all that Austin has to offer with her husband, son, and daughter.
