Miranda Wheeldon is a native Texan that was born and raised in the Austin area. Miranda attended The University of Texas at Corpus Christi, where she obtained her Bachelor of Science in Nursing. After graduation she worked as a Labor and Delivery nurse at North Austin Medical Center and Ascension Seton Williamson. From there she continued her work in women’s health at the St. David’s Austin Surgery Center while obtaining her Master of Science in Nursing from Texas Woman’s University, specializing as a Family Nurse Practitioner.

Miranda has always found herself passionate about women’s health and dedicated to being an advocate for her patients. She is excited to join Austin Area OBGYN and become a part of Dr. Halle’s incredible team.

In her free time, Miranda enjoys spending time with her husband, two daughters, and golden retriever.
