Monica Bohac was born and raised in McAllen, a Texas border town located in the Rio Grande Valley. She knew at a very young age that women’s health was her passion. Monica attended The University of Texas at Austin, where she obtained her Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2005. She then worked as a Labor and Delivery nurse at Seton Medical Center, participating in the management and care of both routine and high-risk labor patients for eight years.

Monica, with the hope of providing more comprehensive care to women of all ages, returned to school and earned her Master of Science in Nursing. She graduated with honors from the University of Texas at Arlington in December 2019. Monica is board certified through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. She is a current member of several professional organizations, including the American Association of Nurse Practitioners, the Texas Nurse Practitioner’s Association, and Sigma Theta Tau.

Dedicated to creating a comfortable, safe clinic environment, Monica promises to foster open communication lines and strives to empower and support all her patients in making informed health care decisions. Monica looks forward to seeing patients for comprehensive care including: annual exams, birth control consults, routine OB care, colposcopy, IUD insertions, Nexplanon insertions, and hormone replacement therapy.

At the end of the workday, Monica loves heading home to her sweet husband, Ryan, beautiful 10-year-old daughter Mia, and playful pup Pepper. In her free time, she enjoys crafting, baking, and traveling.
